Ya, I'm obsessed

My absolute new obsession is Desse, it is a line of lip butters run by some girls at my school(Haley and Gabi). The "3 juicy flavors" include lemon + cranberry, grapefruit, and tangerine.  I was unsure at first, partly because the EOS tangerine scarred me(I have nightmares about it sometimes) but the Desse ones are great(so I have heard) If I wasn't out of town I would be at the salon buying every "juicy flavor" I could get my hands on. Needless to say I quite like this homemade, 100% natural, and alcohol-free line.  I really love the packaging, it is very clean looking, but also fun, very Jonathan Adler. Now for some bad news, you can only buy these fabulous lip butters in one store, and they don't have an online store, so...Maybe in a few years the business will take over the nation or even the world. Regardless sign up for their mailing list for updates and news.

I am obsessed with this dress, it is absolutely gorgeous. I love everything about it. The color is(if you can't tell)a very light green with a grey undertone. I think they chose that color to make it look vintage, if so they did a great job. The actual shape of the dress is beautiful also, it has a bustier style bodice with boning, it does have a plunging neckline though. The skirt has layered tulle everywhere. I thought this dress would be perfect for my milestone birthday coming up in March! Sorry to kinda rant, again, but I think this dress is breathtaking. I think the reason I like it is, because it isn't my preppy style, it is wispy and vintage looking. I have a dark size, a part of me loves these very vintage things and maybe soon, I will tell you about my dream party...

Dress: H&M tulle dress from conscious collection in color light green
*Made of 100% recycled polyester

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days, but I have been at a hotel with no Internet :( I am actually at a restaurant and will be going to Starbucks for more Internet later today. On another note yesterday, I got my first Ralph Lauren button down(or up if you please). I absolutely love it, it i blue pinstripe and has a large crest on the left side. I got it at the outlet store, along with some other things...#shopaholicprobs. I can't wait for school to start so I can show off my new shirt. I styled it with dark wash abercormbie jeans, brown pebbled leather dolce vita riding boots, a large faced gold watch, and my black size large long champ.

Fun Fact #3: One of my favorite pieces of jewelry is the gold large face watch, they are timeless and match literally anything!

So i know that I'm supposed to be this preppy girl and stuff, but I really love converse. I guess you could say that they are a neutral shoe. They can be worn with literally everything! Just take someone like Harry Styles, OK don't freak out, I am not this crazy fan girl or anything...he is kind of my style twin(but he's a guy so...) He can be all hipster one second then the next he is wearing a blazer. Confusing! He actually has this exact same pair of shoes, obviously a different size, he wears like a size 11(yes I looked it up). So if you need a new pair of shoes get these...now.

Fun Fact #2: I have the same shoes as Harry...so we're cool. Oh and my grandfather had a friend named: Harry Styles

So as you all may know by the last post, I'm just a little bit extremely preppy...there I said it. I am preppy. Why do I feel like when you say those 3 simple words, a whole world of fashion disappears.  It is shamed upon if a preppy person wears anything hipstery(yes i did just make that up) What if I want to be a hipster while simultaneously shopping at J.Crew...those may seem like great extremes as J.Crew is the epitome of preppy things, well that and Lilly Pulitzer, and Vineyard Vines, and Ralph Lauren, just to name a few...why can't we meet somewhere in the middle...neutral, not preppy but not hipstery. Some days I want to just put on an army jacket and toms while carrying my Starbucks and naked iPhone(naked as in no case)other days I go all out preppy, the anchor chiffon top, brown riding boots, long champ, and Lilly iPhone case. My style can be very bi-polar...or that may be the dual personality showing through..
Am I the only one that is obsessed with monograms...they are just perfect. Thanks to sarahbelle93x(on you tube) I have become accustomed to monogramming everything, like she said, "If it doesn't move, monogram it." This is a very true statement, if you get me something monogrammed, I will love you forever. Some people just really hate monograms(it's fine if you do)personally, I don't know why anyone would though. Hate me, but I'm going to quote Sarah again..."Haters gonna hate monogrammers gonna monogram." On that note I shall be back tomorrow(or later today)

Fun Fact #1: I like monograms...wow I bet you didn't know that!
